Louisiana white shrimp are harvested at night while feeding near the surface. Shrimp nets are hauled aboard and the live shrimp quickly sorted by size. The shrimp are rinsed in ice water, bagged and boxed, then loaded into the Anna Marie fridge to be quick frozen in their natural state.
All Heads On product are processed in this manner, being fresher than fresh. Our Headless and Frozen product are obtained from the premium shrimp processors on the Gulf.
