Shipping and Returns

*Please review all order information (especially the shipping address) and notify us within 1 hour of the order being placed if any changes need to be made.

*Live Crawfish are Perishable and should be cooked the day of delivery! If you choose to hold them overnight, it is at your risk.

*For incorrect addresses an $21 address change fee will be applied to your payment method. Louisiana Crawfish Co. is not responsible for delays related to incorrect addresses.

*If purchasing perishable items as a gift it is the purchaser’s responsibility to notify the recipient of the delivery and provide a correct address.

*FedEx/UPS orders are released without a signature unless requested. If a signature is requested there will be a charge of $5.00 added to your order. Louisiana Crawfish Co and FedEx/UPS will not be responsible for orders delivered to the requested address that are left unattended.

*Orders being shipped to Canada are by phone order only as additional shipping charges apply.

*Additional shipping charges may apply for large non-perishable items shipping to Alaska.

*Due to increased online fraud, if your billing and shipping addresses are different we will contact you by phone to confirm the order prior to shipping. Order will not ship until confirmed!

*We ship via FedEx and UPS.  If you have a preference please let us know in the comments box at checkout.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

As the shipping industry evolves to lifestyle changes, Louisiana Crawfish Company has implemented a mandatory Shipping Insurance fee of $2.50/box (50 lbs max per box) to cover the refund or replacement for delayed, lost, damaged, or spoiled packages. This is a proactive response to ensure your order is protected.

*Delayed package is defined by an Overnight package that was not delivered on the requested delivery date. Excludes delays due to incorrect or incomplete address and recipient unavailable at time of delivery.

In the event of one of the above mentioned situations please submit a trouble ticket here within 24 hours of your scheduled delivery: TROUBLE TICKET

Refunds, Credits and Cancellations:

Cancellations and Order Changes: Orders may be edited or cancelled by 3pm CST the day BEFORE the order is scheduled to ship. During holiday/high volume weeks, two days BEFORE.

Refunds and Credits: Please inspect your order upon delivery. If there is ANY problem with your perishable order we must be notified within 24 hours of delivery. If after normal business hours, please text or email your order number and issue. Pictures of damages or spoiled products are required for a replacement or refund.

Orders received by 330pm CST Monday through Friday can ship the same day or you can select a specific delivery date at checkout!

During checkout you can choose a specific delivery date!

It can be as early as tomorrow if ordered by 330pm CST or a future date!

We offer FedEx/UPS delivery Tuesday through Saturday

Southwest Cargo pick ups 7 days per week!

IMPORTANT

If receiving your order is time sensitive we highly recommend the “FedEx Hold for Pick Up” shipping method where you can pick up your package from the nearest FedEx Station at your convenience.

Holiday Shipping:
Overnight shipments to commercial locations with a typical 10:30 AM or 12:00 PM commit time will be extended to at least 3:00 PM, and overnight shipments to residential locations will be extended to end-of-day.

SPECIFIC STATE REGULATIONS:

We are unable to ship whole skinned alligators to TEXAS.

We are unable to ship LIVE Crawfish to ALASKA, HAWAII, WASHINGTON, MICHIGAN, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, PENNSYLVANIA, MINNESOTA, or OREGON due to restrictions by the Department of Natural Resources*

  • Oregon, you may apply for a permit for Live Crawfish HERE
  • Minnesota, if you are a restaurant you may obtain a permit for Boiled Crawfish from Chelsey Blanke at (651) 259-5350..

Possible Holiday Delays: Week of Thanksgiving and Week prior to Christmas and Week of Christmas.

IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR ORDER PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONE OR EMAIL.
NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS MAY BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
PLEASE CALL AHEAD TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE YOUR ITEM(S).
RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON PERISHABLE ITEMS.
