Crawfish are fully cooked then individually quick frozen for shipping. Simply heat and serve! Heating can be done by steaming or placing in boiling water for approx. 2 minutes!  Crawfish may also be served cold.

How to Prepare Pre-Boiled Crawfish

If you plan to use the crawfish within 24 hours simply put the crawfish in the refrigerator. Otherwise, put the crawfish (in the bag) into the freezer.

STEP 1: Fill a large pot with enough water to cover crawfish. The crawfish are already cooked and seasoned so if you want the crawfish mild, do not add any seasoning to the water. However, for true authentic Cajun flavor, add 1 pound of LA Crawfish Company’s Seafood Boil for every 20 lbs of crawfish. The powdered premixed seasoning contains salt, lemon, onion, garlic, and many other spices needed for real “Cajun flavor”.

STEP 2: Bring water to a rolling boil.

STEP 3: Vegetables traditionally are served with boiled crawfish. The standard favorites are corn-on- (optional) the-cob and potatoes. However we suggest you also try mushrooms, carrots, whole onions, whole garlic, and any others of your choice. Boil the vegetables in the water before heating the crawfish, keeping in mind they will not take long to cook and they soak up the spices quickly. Start the potatoes first and add the others right before the potatoes are almost fork tender. Take the vegetables out of the water and place in an ice chest to keep warm!

STEP 4: Bring water back to a rolling boil & place crawfish in boiling water. Boil crawfish only approx. 2-3 minutes. Remember you are not trying to cook the crawfish, simply trying to heat them. Sample crawfish to make certain the desired temperature has been reached. Remove crawfish from water immediately.

STEP 5: Place crawfish and vegetables on a table covered with newspaper.

STEP 6: LA Crawfish Co. Creole Seasoning or more of the Seafood Boil may be sprinkled on top (optional) of the crawfish if desired for spicier Cajun flavor!

STEP 7: Help yourself and enjoy Louisiana’s finest delicacy!

Wow! I was very impressed with the quality and flavor of the crawfish that I ordered. I will definitely be ordering more! I told the wife if she's lookin for something to get me for Christmas, Birthday, groundhog day, or any other day of the year, BUY ME SOME OF THESE!!! Great job guy's and gal's!

I have purchased frozen (and live) crawfish elsewhere. I was very pleased with the quality of these crawfish! I just joined the VIP membership and intend to order regularly!! I am also looking forward to crawfish season again. :)

The Crawfish were out of this world. Arrived right on time (Saturday delivery). I've never cooked Crawfish myself, but the directions provided were spot on. We finished 10 pounds easily between 8 people. Turned a lot of Crawfish virgins into lovers. Already have requests to host another boil!
