Louisiana Crawfish Company

We have always used Cajun grocer and this was our first year using Louisiana crawfish company. Not only were they cheaper, but they had better crawfish. They came on time with absolutely no issues. We loved everything about this company. Highly recommended.

UPS shipped our order to a wrong place and said there was no way to get our order on June 5th for our anniversary dinner. When I called and told you you said you would ship another order at no charge on Monday or refund that order. I chose reship. It was not at all your fault and you reshipped the order. Thank You. I did not see the order arrive as I was out delivering food in the community on Tues, Wed and Friday. My husband was home and he took care of the meat. He immediately cooked up a package for him and our grandson. They ate the whole package.He loved his anniversary present. I just have to say WOW! and Thank You so much! We will order again. Just wanted to say how pleased I am about your product and service. I had 30# of jumbo crawfish delivered to my home on a Saturday. They got there exactly when it was communicated and they were in excellent condition, of the 30#'s I only had 6 dead. Greetings from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: We received our order as promised last Saturday at the FedEx facility in Myrtle Beach, SC. We had a company event entitled Celebrate Summer which started on June 10, 2017 at 5:00pm. We opened the package and found the crawfish to be alive but still cold - just right to boil along with seasoning. After rinsing (these were purged and select grade) and putting on to boil - they turned out perfect and made a wonderful addition to our shrimp and BBQ chicken. We hosted upwards of 75 people and the crawfish were the centerpiece of our event. Rest assured, I will be using you for future events as I am very satisfied with the quality of the product and your customer service. Thank you once again! A note to Avery: I just wanted to say thanks for helping us out on Saturday to get to the bottom of the shipping company's freakout (they called us on delivery day saying the shipment was damaged, it would be a complete loss, and they were getting rid of the crawfish). You straightened them out, and all 100 pounds eventually got delivered safe and sound and ON-TIME, completely fine and ready to cook! The party was a huge success. Thank you!

I just wanted to send you guys a follow-up. I received the package in perfect condition this Friday at the updated address. The contents were perfectly cold and ready to go. These were the best crawfish any of us have ever had and we had a blast. I know the first damaged package was not your fault but I cannot say enough about the way you guys handled this so quickly. Just wanted to say that our order was PERFECT. Gave a few Washington DC boys their first taste of mudbugs over Memorial day weekend. Our 15 pounds were absolutely flawless. Not one dead one. delivery was phenomenal even for a holiday weekend. I will be ordering plenty more for years to come and will be recommending y'all to everyone I can. You guys are top notch.

Thanks for another great shipment of crawfish! Almost 100% were alive again. As always, you guys made about 70 friends very happy in denver. It is now everyones most anticipated event of the year, and none of them had eaten crawfish prior to our first annual boil. You guys do a great job.

Thanks so much for a quality product at a great price. The crawfish and shrimp arrived early the next morning and when I opened the cooler I was greeted with a big bag of frisky crawfish ready for the boiler, and some of the biggest and cleanest shrimp I've seen. Thanks again and looking forward to ordering from y'all again soon. Oh, and the shrimp were better than anything I could get here in Florida.

I grew up in Louisiana and moved to North Carolina several years ago and was missing the food I always loved so much. With help from my parents and brother they have taught my California husband how to master cooking crawfish!! For the past 8 years, we've hosted an annual crawfish boil every first weekend of June. We were able to purchase the crawfish from our local Farmer’s market but the past two years we found a farmer near Raleigh. However, this year he was charging $7.00 a pound (YES I said $7.00lb). Since we have around 30-40 folks it was getting a bit expensive but instead of canceling our party we took a risk and ordered from LA Crawfish. With the assistance of Suzanne (amazing customer service) we ordered 100 pounds of select and received them the evening before through Southwest Cargo. I can’t tell you how pleased I was to see how nice and clean they were. On Saturday, June 7th we hosted 40 of our friends and family with just a little left over for some crawfish etouffee. We will be ordering from you again and wanted you to know you have a loyal customer for life. Not to mention but I'm pretty sure this year's batch were the best crawfish I've ever eaten.

Just a quick note about my recent order. I was very hesitant to order pre-cooked crawfish for our upcoming party. I was worried they would spoil, or be too spicy for some of my guests. I decided to try them anyway. The phone order process was SO easy and professional. They arrived exactly on time and they were DELICIOUS! We had a mudbug feeding frenzy and everyone was happy!!! It came packaged excellent, and we fryed up a bunch and it is the talk of the town (considering Tillamook, Oregon has more cows then people). I am writing to you in thanks for a fantastic service. I am a native Louisianian (Slidell), but I have lived in Portland, Oregon for approximately eight years. During that time, I have repeatedly wished that I could host an authentic crawfish boil for my friends here, and you folks made that possible. I ordered 30 pounds of live crawfish for the recent Memorial Day weekend, and they arrived here in perfect condition (and held up equally well on the drive from Portland to our camping site in the Columbia Gorge). People up here went crazy for the crawfish, and it was wonderful to finally share such a treasured part of my home culture with my Pacific Northwest family. The boudin that I ordered was also exceptional. Great service, great product, and everything at a surprisingly low price. Best, Kyle

I recieved my shipment as planned on Saturday of 25 lbs of "bait sized" crawdads. I live in a rural community and had told my neighbors of the impending shippment. When the Fed Ex truck showed up all of my neighbors were standing around the front porch befor the poor guy could even get his tablet signed! The next 2 hours and all that took place will be forever engrained in my mind for the rest of my life! My oldest son and wife are both in the Army and have been deployed numerous times. Having them with us for Easter was going to be a special treat initself as their two children love our farm and live to fish our pond. When we opened the cooler it was kind of anti climactic...until we emptied the bag into a horse trough we had placed by the pond...then all heck broke loose! grown men, women , children and the family dogs all went into a frenzy! The next two or three hours was spent laughing, laughing so hard some of us cried and laughing some more as we hand placed our new "bugs" into the specially designed brick houses we had made in the pond to give the little buggers a fighting chance against the 9lb bass that lives with his 2 eight lb sisters in our pond. From our grandchildren who are 7 and 8 and the neighbors granson who is 3 to a retired Navy seal, every one was laughing and jumping around pulling crawdads out of the horse trough. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard! This is going to have to become an Easter tradition at our farm no matter how unorthidox! I understand that my new residents won't winter up her, but that's O.K. "cause it gives me a reason to order more next spring! I am sure this is not your "normal" Great job letter but I couldn't not let you know the joy and happiness that your business and crawdads brought to our home! I wanted to thank you for the best gift I could ever get my mom! We both moved away from Louisiana do to the military and always talk about how much we missed having crawfish. So I ordered 10lbs as a surprise, my sister and she went crazy when it arrived. My sister wouldn't stop hugging the box! Thank you again so much!

I just want to say that you guys totally rock. We wanted to do a crawfish boil and I got your name from a friend of mine in New Orleans. We ordered the 20 pound party pack and believe me they were nice sized crawfish. Everyone who ate at my house on Saturday was impressed by the quantity and quality of your product. I followed the directions on your website and out of the 20 pounds we had a few dead ones, but you noted that that may happen. I used to do a seasoning of Old Bay, fresh garlic and lemons, but your spices were right on the money and we all enjoyed it immensely. Let's say that a few beers helped cope with the spice. My nephew went to law school in New Orleans and felt like he was back there after eating your crawfish. I can honestly say that Oceanside, NY, on Long Island will make sure your name is known. I just wanted to say thank you for helping make our Easter the best Easter we have ever had. We ordered crawfish and had it delivered on Saturday. We kept it until Sunday and only had a handful that didn't survive the hot weather in Arizona. Every year you come through for us and we appreciate it. I could not be more satisfied with the quality, service, price, and product your company provides. Growing up in Mississippi and having a father that lives in New Orleans, I have always associated the spring months with crawfish boils. But, ever since moving to Washington, DC two years ago, I haven't been able to enjoy my favorite crustacean in quite the way I was accustomed to. That is, until I ordered 100 lbs of fresh, live crawfish for my cookout this past weekend! They came off the FedEx truck the morning of the party--just as y'all had promised they would--and, after a thorough cleaning, I found maybe a dozen didn't survive the overnight trip from Louisiana. Oh, and these mudbugs were HUGE with big, meaty tails and claws! The boil was a raging success and my friends and I were able to show our non-Southern guests how to clean, cook, and eat fresh crawfish the proper way. So long as I live in this area, I will never purchase crawfish from anyone outside of the Louisiana Crawfish Company.
