We’re proud to offer Louisiana crawfish shipped nationwide, and that means no matter where you live, a backyard boil is always within reach. We also ship a full lineup of Cajun foods shipped nationwide: from Cajun specialty products like our signature seasoning blends and andouille, to our crowd-favorite Cajun meats. Louisiana Crawfish Co. Shipping Tips

*Please review all order information (especially the shipping address) and notify us within 1 hour of the order being placed if any changes need to be made.

*Live Crawfish are Perishable and should be cooked the day of delivery! If you choose to hold them overnight, it is at your risk.

*For incorrect addresses a $35.00 address change fee will be applied to your payment method. Louisiana Crawfish Co. is not responsible for delays related to incorrect addresses.

*If purchasing perishable items as a gift it is the purchaser’s responsibility to notify the recipient of the delivery and provide a correct address.

*FedEx/UPS orders are released without a signature unless requested. If a signature is requested there will be a charge of $7.60 added to your order. Louisiana Crawfish Co and FedEx/UPS will not be responsible for orders delivered to the requested address that are left unattended.

*Orders being shipped to Canada are by phone order only as additional shipping charges apply.

*Additional shipping charges may apply for large non-perishable items shipping to Alaska.

*Due to increased online fraud, if your billing and shipping addresses are different we will contact you by phone to confirm the order prior to shipping. Order will not ship until confirmed!

If you’re in Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, or the Carolinas, you already know what a crawfish boil means to a gathering. We make it even easier to host one. Our overnight shipping gets live Louisiana crawfish shipped nationwide, including to every corner of the Southeast, fresh and lively by the time they hit your doorstep. Whether you’re planning a family reunion in North Carolina or a Mardi Gras party in Florida, we’ve got the sacks to make it happen.

The Northeast: Louisiana Flavor, Delivered Up North

You don’t have to be in the bayou to boil the real thing. We regularly ship to New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and beyond. Customers throughout the Northeast have been ordering live crawfish from us for years. It’s become a springtime tradition for a growing number of families who want an authentic Louisiana experience without the flight.

A few things to keep in mind: we ship overnight via FedEx or UPS, so your order arrives fresh. Live crawfish are perishable and should be cooked the same day they’re delivered. Plan your boil accordingly and have the pot and propane ready to go.

The Midwest: From the Bayou to the Heartland

From Iowa and Ohio to Michigan, Indiana, and Missouri, Midwestern families have been discovering the magic of a live crawfish boil, and we’ve been shipping it to them for decades. It’s become a staple for Memorial Day and summer backyard cookouts all across the region.

Important note for Pennsylvania residents: we are currently unable to ship live crawfish to residential addresses. Live crawfish may be shipped to restaurants only.

Important note for Michigan residents: we are currently unable to ship live crawfish to Michigan due to Department of Natural Resources restrictions. However, we can ship boiled crawfish, crawfish tails, and a wide range of other Louisiana seafood and specialty products to Michigan, so you don’t have to miss out entirely. Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota also have live crawfish shipping restrictions. See the State-Specific Regulations section below for full details.

The West Coast & Western U.S.: Fresh from Louisiana to Your Coast

California, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and beyond: we ship live crawfish and Louisiana seafood to the West Coast and across the Western U.S. regularly. For our customers in California, it’s as simple as placing an order before 4:00 PM CST Monday through Friday and selecting your delivery date at checkout.

Oregon residents: live crawfish shipments to Oregon require a Crayfish Transport Permit issued by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. You can apply for one here. Once you have your permit, we’re ready to ship. Colorado, Utah, and other Western states receive live crawfish shipments without additional permit requirements in most cases, but we always recommend checking your local regulations before ordering.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

As the shipping industry evolves to lifestyle changes, Louisiana Crawfish Company has implemented a mandatory, non-refundable, Shipping Insurance fee of $3.99/box (50 lbs max per box) to cover the refund or replacement for delayed, lost, damaged, or spoiled packages. This is a proactive response to ensure your order is protected.

*Delayed package is defined by an Overnight package that was not delivered on the requested delivery date. Excludes delays due to incorrect or incomplete address and recipient unavailable at time of delivery.

Refunds, Credits and Cancellations:

Cancellations and Order Changes: Orders may be edited or cancelled by 3pm CST the day BEFORE the order is scheduled to ship. During holiday/high volume weeks, two days BEFORE.

Refunds and Credits: Please inspect your order upon delivery. If there is ANY problem with your perishable order we must be notified within 24 hours of delivery. If after normal business hours, please text or email your order number and issue. Pictures of damages or spoiled products are required for a replacement or refund.

It can be as early as tomorrow if ordered by 4:00 pm CST or a future date!

We offer FedEx/UPS delivery Tuesday through Saturday

Southwest Cargo pick ups Tuesday through Saturday (during peak crawfish season)!

IMPORTANT

If receiving your order is time sensitive we highly recommend the “FedEx Hold for Pick Up” shipping method where you can pick up your package from the nearest FedEx Station at your convenience.

Holiday Shipping:
Overnight shipments to commercial locations with a typical 10:30 AM or 12:00 PM commit time will be extended to at least 3:00 PM, and overnight shipments to residential locations will be extended to end-of-day.

SPECIFIC STATE REGULATIONS:

We are unable to ship whole skinned alligators to TEXAS.

We are unable to ship LIVE Crawfish to ALASKA, HAWAII, WASHINGTON, MICHIGAN, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, PENNSYLVANIA, MINNESOTA, or OREGON due to restrictions by the Department of Natural Resources*

  • Oregon, you may apply for a Crayfish Transport Permit for Live Crawfish HERE Once permitted, we can ship live crawfish to your door.
  • Minnesota, you may obtain a permit for Boiled Crawfish HERE
  • Pennsylvania and Michigan: Live crawfish shipments are currently prohibited by state DNR regulations. We can ship boiled crawfish, crawfish tails, and other non-live seafood and Louisiana specialty products to these states.
  • Illinois and Wisconsin: Live crawfish are restricted. Boiled crawfish, tails, and packaged seafood products are available for shipment.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us! Non-perishable items may be returned within 30 days of purchase – unused and in original packaging.  Please contact us to received instructions on how to return or exchange your item(s).
