To whom it may concern, First off, I do not write reviews. In all my life I may have written 3 or 4, but I wanted to send one to you guys to show my gratitude. My wife is from New Orleans. We met 17 years ago on Bourbon St. This year for her birthday all she wanted was to go home to New Orleans and spend time with family. Due to the Corona virus that was not going to be an option. She was very depressed and I was racking my brains as to what I could do for her birthday. Being a New Orleans native she naturally loves crawfish boils. We have tried to order live crawfish twice before from other companies and the experience was not a good one. Both times they were almost all dead and also very small. So I was very nervous to hinge her birthday plans on trying to order live crawfish from LA. I placed an order for a sack with you guys the day before her birthday. I received a call confirming my order. The lady I spoke with was very nice and I was even able to make a last second change to my order pertaining to the spices that were included. The next day the crawfish arrived in time and were kickin like crazy. I sent a video of the crawfish moving in the cooler to my buddy in Kenner. He said "those things look better than the ones I get here locally". We had a Mardi Gras themed birthday party for my wife and the crawfish boil went off without a hitch. I passed your info off to all my friends here locally who all plan on placing some orders for their boils. I just wanted to drop you a line about our recent crawfish delivery. The crawfish were beautiful and arrived here in Florida exactly on time. My family thoroughly enjoyed them and helped us to remember growing up in Louisiana. We usually go home to Louisiana twice a year, but this year things being as they are, we were unable to get there. That 30 lbs. of crawfish was heavenly for us. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your professional handling of our order and we will be back.

I just wanted to thank you all for another great job on my order this past weekend. For the last three years I've hosted a crawfish boil at my home in Maryland for friends and family and every year has been better than the last. The crawfish and sausage all arrived early Saturday morning as scheduled (mix and other items arrived a week early) and they were all fantastic. Thanks again for a great experience. Just wanted to let you know how helpful your staff members were. The young lady I wanted to send crawfish to grew up here in Mississippi and always looked forward to crawfish season. She now lives in Oregon, and I didn’t want her to miss out on one of her favorite things (she’s also a chef). I had hoped to send her live crawfish, then saw at the last moment that live ones could not be shipped to Oregon. With her odd hours, I opted for a gift certificate so that she could arrange the arrival of cooked crawfish at a time that would be convenient for her. I had to telephone your office several times with stupid questions, and every time your people were extremely helpful and patient. And I especially appreciated the phone call I received making sure that I had, indeed, placed the order, since it was being shipped to an address which was different from the billing address. It’s so nice to know that a company would be that conscientious. Again, thanks for all your help, and I know Kittie will be thrilled with the crawfish!

LOUISIANA CRAWFISH TOTALLY RULLES THE BOIL!!!!!! Once again, LA Crawfish has made a gathering of people happy. Let me re phrase that, we had 19 people over for a crawfish boil and they had the best time ever!!!!!. Why, you may ask, well, how about the freshest, tastiest, spiced up mudbugs that were the centerpiece of the afternoon. My son specifically requested a crawfish boil to celebrate his 30th birthday. So, I ordered 30 lbs (see the connection) of select sized crawfish and 12 pounds to marinated alligator legs. Now, here is the best part. The way LA Crawfish ships their product, I received my package 15 minutes before the estimated delivery time and the alligator legs were still frozen. Unreal. The crawfish were active and I hosed them down 5 times to keep them that way. When I finally did cook them I only lost 32 crawfish out of 30 pounds. That was spectacular. The spices were great and I usually add sliced lemon and garlic cloves to the cooking liquid. After the bugs were bright red I cooked red potatoes and corn in the same broth. 19 people were very happy, very stuffed and asked when we would do it again. Most took home doggy bags. The potatoes are spectacular smashed and cooked as hash browns the next day and served with burgers, chicken or fish. Thank you for another successful party. Your product is stellar, your service is spectacular and your reputation is un questionable. Will I order again, no question. Can I say enough about your product, no. Thank you again and again.

We ordered the 30 pound value pack on Monday afternoon. The Bugs were here at 9 AM Tuesday and we cooked and ate them at 6 PM last night. What a treat! All bugs made the trip safely. It has been a long time coming for me to order the crawlfish. I hadn't ordered these things in about 10-12 years so my youngest didn't remember them. Worst of all is he absolutely loves them. Well our order came 7-3-13 and I couldn't wait. He has never had them that fresh and he went to town eating them. I forgot how great they tasted fresh. We had a great time and for the quality, shipping, fun and price you cant beat it. Oh did I mention the alligator. Yeah 4lbs of alligator gone in minutes. Thanks again for the service, AWESOME customer service, and the great time. I cant wait to order again and do it right. I got the rust off now the fun begins. WOW! This is the second time I have ordered from you. I was not disappointed. The crawfish arrived live and fiesty. I followed the instructions and hosed them down a few times and got them wriggling. The cajun treats were dilivered on Saturday and stayed until Sunday when I cooked them. The spices were fantastic. I added corn and potatoes and everyone had a blast. Now here is the thing. Out of 30 pounds I only had 57 dead ones. I was pleased with that ration and 4 of the people that were at my house asked me where I got the 'bugs' and how I cooked them. I gave away your brochure so expect to ship some up to Long Island, NY. Basically, we overdosed on crawfish, aligator legs and tons of other things. I just wanted to thank your for the great crawfish I got from you last Friday. I had 100 lbs shipped via "airport to airport" to Philadelphia for a boil on Saturday. Getting the crawfish from the airport went very smooth. The crawfish were healthy and very large and were a big hit. I'm from New Orleans and moved to Philly a year and a half ago. I met another family up here who moved to Philly a number of years ago from Donaldsonville, LA. Having a boil was the obvious thing to do for our new friends and neighbors. We hope to do it again next year. Thank you again and look forward to crawfish again next year.

The seasoning was great, the kids loved the beads, my son tried to give his beads to the ladies but too bad for him he still had them when the party was over. We just the third annual Chuck Lewis Crawfish Boil and it was awesome! I had to get frozen crawfish this year because I live in Hawaii now, and I was a little nervous, but it was the absolute heat! Matter of fact, it was so good that there’s been a demand for an encore. So, we’re going to throw “Crawfest 09” 31 July 2009. How late can I order the crawfish and still have some available? How long is the season going to run? And for some reason I had this thought that you might like some pictures. Thanks again for another awesome setup.

This is my second order--best frozen crawfish tails we've had. We love Louisiana and it's food. Previously we had ordered from Cajun Grocer, but the quality varied a lot. It is nice to order from the source. Thanks for your prduct!!

They were excellent, taking us back to when we had them @ Catfish Juction in Leesville, LA on our past vacation this past February. Thank y'all so much for making our first crawfish boil in Utah a huge success. We are orginially from Texas and had crawfish boils all the time, but since moving to Utah, it was very expensive to purchase crawfish up here and not worth the price. The crawfish we ordered from y'all arrived exactly when they were suppose to, were big, and most important, alive!!
