Louisiana Crawfish Company

A few of us fellas wanted to get together and do a crawfish boil. We passed the hat and got the money together to order a 40lb pack of crawfish from Louisiana Crawfish . Wow ! In today's world it is sometimes hard to get good products and / or service from anybody. This was absolutely not the case with these fine folks at Louisiana Crawfish. We had a excellent experience from the ordering to the eating! The order showed up on time. It was packaged very well . The quality and size of the crawfish was great. I found out they were very lively after sticking my hand in there with them lol. The spices included in the kit were perfect. We ordered our kit extra spicy. The flavor was spot on! To whom it may concern, First off, I do not write reviews. In all my life I may have written 3 or 4, but I wanted to send one to you guys to show my gratitude. My wife is from New Orleans. We met 17 years ago on Bourbon St. This year for her birthday all she wanted was to go home to New Orleans and spend time with family. Due to the Corona virus that was not going to be an option. She was very depressed and I was racking my brains as to what I could do for her birthday. Being a New Orleans native she naturally loves crawfish boils. We have tried to order live crawfish twice before from other companies and the experience was not a good one. Both times they were almost all dead and also very small. So I was very nervous to hinge her birthday plans on trying to order live crawfish from LA. I placed an order for a sack with you guys the day before her birthday. I received a call confirming my order. The lady I spoke with was very nice and I was even able to make a last second change to my order pertaining to the spices that were included. The next day the crawfish arrived in time and were kickin like crazy. I sent a video of the crawfish moving in the cooler to my buddy in Kenner. He said "those things look better than the ones I get here locally". We had a Mardi Gras themed birthday party for my wife and the crawfish boil went off without a hitch. I passed your info off to all my friends here locally who all plan on placing some orders for their boils. I want to let LA CRAWFISH and the world know that it is very refreshing to deal with a company that truly understands the meaning of Customer Service. LA Crawfish did their job, shipping out 100 lbs. of crawfish on the requested date to arrive the day before our party. We always get the crawfish on Friday to give us a day buffer in case of any snafu. We received a call on Friday morning from FED EX advising us the shipment was delayed in Memphis, TN and would arrive the next business day. I advised them that live crawfish arriving on Monday after the party, are totally useless to us. FED EX then advised me that they would put a note in the computer to deliver on Saturday but they couldn’t guarantee it. Having dealt with large corporations in the past, I realize we are a grain of sand and I didn’t have a good feeling. Thankfully one of the two coolers of crawfish did arrive on Friday as expected. They were very active and healthy. The type of product we always receive from LA CRAWFISH. I called LA Crawfish and they advised me they already knew of the problem and were researching the solution. We expressed our concern that crawfish sitting in the airport for 2 days in a container with limited air could be cause for dead crawfish. They didn’t argue with us, they advised they would send out 50 lbs. via UPS for Saturday delivery – at no charge. Saturday morning came and to our surprise, FED EX did arrive with the crawfish – a bit smelly but still alive. After rinsing them with water and releasing them into the holding tank they came back to life. Not even an hour later we received the UPS shipment, the crawfish were even healthier than the shipment we received on Friday and they were HUGE!! I think LA CRAWFISH sent us jumbo to solidify the customer relationship. I would recommend LA CRAWFISH to anyone who is interested in getting live crawfish. This was our 20th year to deal with them and we have always had a very positive experience. Thank you LA CRAWFISH for making our party a success – again!!

I just wanted to thank you for making my first crawfish event a success. I poured through the website and the videos were very helpful. I had called a couple of times asking "rookie" questions. The staff was very helpful. I read many of the testimonials and I was confident that this was the company that I wanted to use. I made the order and chose the purged select size. The order came in by UPS without a hitch and on time. I was impressed by the size and the liveliness of the crawfish. They were very clean and very few were dead. I would estimate out of 50 lbs, maybe only 20 were dead. It was impressive. The event was great. Everyone loved them. The seasoning packets were flavorful and just the right amount of heat. We had such a great time that I can say I will be buying more very soon for another party! It was a great experience from start to finish. Thank you, Pete

Our crawfish boil was a HUGE success here in Boulder, CO. Wife and I went to LSU and tried to recreate a good crawfish boil for some newbies. Crawfish arrived on time, were clean and big and I counted ONE dead one. Crawfish were delicious....one mild batch and one that gave you a sweat moustache. New tradition...look for annual orders from me in May/June. Thanks again!

Ok guys we received our crawfish 30 lb Jumbo on Friday! Oh My Gosh they were all kicken cept maybe 15 critters. The boil was so great and 7 folks had had some before 3 had not. The Jumbo were so nice folks got good meat out of claws and said baby lobsters. I have more corn/potatoes left and just enough mud bugs to make a gumbo. I could not be happier THANK YOU!!!!!!

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for the great crawfish! My wife and I recently ordered 70lbs of live crawfish for a Saturday boil with our friends and family. We ordered the 30 pound value pack on Monday afternoon. The Bugs were here at 9 AM Tuesday and we cooked and ate them at 6 PM last night. What a treat! All bugs made the trip safely. Got my 30 lbs. of crawfish Saturday at noon! Perfect timing and some of the finest crawfish I've seen. I try to boil as many crawfish as i can thru June,have used many different vendors, and I'm done looking! Ya'll really do have a superior product and the best price. It rained 4" Saturday but the crawfish kept everybody happy and full. Good times! Wish I had gotten a whole sack, 10 more pounds would have done it! But i guess that's what Memorial Day is for huh! Wooooo can't wait. Keep up the good work ya'll.

Every year, we have a party we call "Critter Christmas" where we get friends and family together and cook a large variety of exotic game. Hi guys, our big ole mardi gras crawfish boil was great and I have a new fave pet...we had 4-5 crawfish left uncooked and put them in our 8 sided 30? gallon fish tank. We had red jewels on top of the rocks at the base of the tank. Each crawfish guarded one of the red stones and in the next couple of days 1 had eaten or beaten up the rest, we named him Mike after Mike Tyson. He is so fun to watch when he emerges from his fave hiding place inside a log? I recieved my shipment as planned on Saturday of 25 lbs of "bait sized" crawdads. I live in a rural community and had told my neighbors of the impending shippment. When the Fed Ex truck showed up all of my neighbors were standing around the front porch befor the poor guy could even get his tablet signed! The next 2 hours and all that took place will be forever engrained in my mind for the rest of my life! My oldest son and wife are both in the Army and have been deployed numerous times. Having them with us for Easter was going to be a special treat initself as their two children love our farm and live to fish our pond. When we opened the cooler it was kind of anti climactic...until we emptied the bag into a horse trough we had placed by the pond...then all heck broke loose! grown men, women , children and the family dogs all went into a frenzy! The next two or three hours was spent laughing, laughing so hard some of us cried and laughing some more as we hand placed our new "bugs" into the specially designed brick houses we had made in the pond to give the little buggers a fighting chance against the 9lb bass that lives with his 2 eight lb sisters in our pond. From our grandchildren who are 7 and 8 and the neighbors granson who is 3 to a retired Navy seal, every one was laughing and jumping around pulling crawdads out of the horse trough. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard! This is going to have to become an Easter tradition at our farm no matter how unorthidox! I understand that my new residents won't winter up her, but that's O.K. "cause it gives me a reason to order more next spring! I am sure this is not your "normal" Great job letter but I couldn't not let you know the joy and happiness that your business and crawdads brought to our home! Just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with our crawfish. This is the first time some of our Arizona friends have had this delicacy and I must tell you it went over in a big way. Howdy! Just wanted to drop you a quick note and thank you for all of your assistance in helping to make our first annual "Crawfish and Bullets" event a success. We had 14 guys out for a crawfish boil and skeet shoot and the quality (size and taste) of the live crawfish was spectacular. We opted for a Saturday delivery, early pickup from FedEx at your recommendation and had almost no dead loss out of 40lbs. Many of the participants had never been to a crawfish boil and they loved every tasty red mud bug. Your customer service from the time of order to delivery was spectacular (including a number of calls and hand-holding) and your instructions for how to prepare and serve was spot on (we found a little longer steam helped plump them up a bit, but that's nit picking). You have made a lot of fans (including a couple of Dallas Cowboys) and we'll definitely be placing future orders.

I just wanted to thank your for the great crawfish I got from you last Friday. I had 100 lbs shipped via "airport to airport" to Philadelphia for a boil on Saturday. Getting the crawfish from the airport went very smooth. The crawfish were healthy and very large and were a big hit. I'm from New Orleans and moved to Philly a year and a half ago. I met another family up here who moved to Philly a number of years ago from Donaldsonville, LA. Having a boil was the obvious thing to do for our new friends and neighbors. We hope to do it again next year. Thank you again and look forward to crawfish again next year.

I wanted to send a quick note and tell you that the 50 lbs that we got last week were AWESOME!!! We only had about 10 dead ones out of the whole batch...the seasoning was perfect, and our Crawfish boil in Ohio was PERFECT. There was not one left on the table...

I wanted to send you a note to tell you how much we LOVE your company! For the last 6 years, we've hosted an annual birthday/ Mardi Gras/ crawfish party every year in February,and every February for the last 6 years we've ordered crawfish from you. But this year, on our party date, there was an inisial circumstance-36inches of snow. The DC area aiprorts shut down, and our crawfish were stuck in Memphis. Seeing the we live in Northern Virginia, our party was going to be without crawfish. We thought that we just wouldn't have the party this year, or we'd place a new order later on. BUT! The very morning of our party, with 36inches of snow on the ground on Fedruary 6, LA Crawfish called (becuasr you must have tracked the order and saw that it didn't make it) and you offered to send us a brand new shipment at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE or a refund. That was 80lbs of crawfish. And not JUST 80lbs of crawfish, but 8olbs of new crawfish to be delivered the SAME weekend of MARDI GRAS, and the weekend after the Saints won the Super Bowl. Do you know awesome you are? It wasn't your fault that we got so much snow, or that our crawfish got stuck in Memphis. But please know that you have a loyal customer for life. We've always ordered from you because of your product, but now we have just one more reason to tell people how aewsome you are! I'm pretty sure this year's batch were the best crawfish I've ever eaten. Can't thank you enough!
