I've been ordering crawfish from LA Crawfish Co for a least 8 years now. This year I ordered 150 lbs of Jumbo for our Annual Memorial Day Weekend Crawdadapalooza at Lake Anna. When I picked up the order at the Fedex facility on friday, they were packed in three smaller boxes, rather than two larger boxes. They were easier to handle and arrived without any damage. I was happy to see that there were more gel packs in the boxes then in the past, very happy to find only about a dozen dead crawfish in the whole order. This year's Crawdadapalooza was a great success, and we're all now looking forward to next year's big event. Thank you all for doing such a great job.

I wanted to thank you supplying what was the best meal I have had in years. A handful of my buddies and I were curious about doing a crawfish boil and being that they aren't plentiful where I come from we wanted to get the freshest crawfish we could get our hands on. We did just that by purchasing 20lbs from you. They were received lively as can be and only found about 3 dead that we picked out. The instructions supplied along with the party pack worked out absolutely perfect. We will be talking about that for a long time coming. We will definitely be purchasing more in the near future as our bragging to friends has peaked interest in doing this again soon.

As far as I know you are the ONLY source for chemical-free, all-natural crawfish and I am so grateful to be able to order this product from you. My family absolutely loves crawfish but we work hard to ensure that the food we eat is as natural and chemical-free as possible. Until we found your product, we thought crawfish were just something we'd have to live without. Your customer service is amazing - when my shipment was damaged in transit and some of my crawfish died as a result, all it took was a 5-minute phone call to get a partial credit applied to my order. Twice I've had to change my ship date and both times your customer service reps were friendly, helpful, and efficient. But most importantly, your products are just absolutely delicious! A couple weeks ago I made an étouffée with leftover crawfish tails I'd frozen from my last order, and it was the best I'd ever had - better than from any restaurant. LOUISIANA CRAWFISH TOTALLY RULLES THE BOIL!!!!!! Once again, LA Crawfish has made a gathering of people happy. Let me re phrase that, we had 19 people over for a crawfish boil and they had the best time ever!!!!!. Why, you may ask, well, how about the freshest, tastiest, spiced up mudbugs that were the centerpiece of the afternoon. My son specifically requested a crawfish boil to celebrate his 30th birthday. So, I ordered 30 lbs (see the connection) of select sized crawfish and 12 pounds to marinated alligator legs. Now, here is the best part. The way LA Crawfish ships their product, I received my package 15 minutes before the estimated delivery time and the alligator legs were still frozen. Unreal. The crawfish were active and I hosed them down 5 times to keep them that way. When I finally did cook them I only lost 32 crawfish out of 30 pounds. That was spectacular. The spices were great and I usually add sliced lemon and garlic cloves to the cooking liquid. After the bugs were bright red I cooked red potatoes and corn in the same broth. 19 people were very happy, very stuffed and asked when we would do it again. Most took home doggy bags. The potatoes are spectacular smashed and cooked as hash browns the next day and served with burgers, chicken or fish. Thank you for another successful party. Your product is stellar, your service is spectacular and your reputation is un questionable. Will I order again, no question. Can I say enough about your product, no. Thank you again and again.

I ordered 40 lbs. of crawfish for my daughter's 27th birthday party on Saturday. I just wanted to let you know that they were amazing! We visited New Orleans three times last year - two French Quarter fests, two weddings and one 60th birthday. We love it and sitting at the table in our back yard on Saturday feasting on those crawfish listening to my 12+ hour long NOLA playlist on the iPod was incredible. We'll be back for more but may have to go 60 lbs. next time! Thank you!

As a longtime customer of the Cajun Grocer I am now switching sides.Nothing wrong with their prods. but prices are more than yours & shipping costs are nuts. Wish to thank you very much for helping me make my first mudbug boil up here in Amenia,NY a success! We ordered 180 lbs and had them delivered to a local airport for pick up. I would say we only lost about 2 to 3 lbs out of the whole order. We had 80 "Yankees" over for their first boil ever. At the end of the day I had only 10lbs left to peel and freeze! Now everyone is wanting to know if this going to be an annual event.

Just wanted to let you know that this is the first year we have used your company for our annual crawfish boil. Our group comes from North Baton Rouge, Slidell, Lafourche Parish, and New Orleans. We have found each other over the years and crave La. food as much as we can get it. You guys delivered every thing you promised and then some. The crawfish were beautiful, clean and kicking. The last sack was not boiled till the next day and only 20 crawfish were found dead. That is better than we have had when buying back home in La. We are know permanet customers and look foward to our next shipment for Memorial Day weekend. So glad we found you..

I ordered the 90 pound party pack for a party. The bugs arrived in great condition and they were larger than I expected this early in the season. About 35 people attended the party Saturday night. Everyone really enjoyed the event. We had music and entertainment outdoors/indoors. The night got chilly, but most people stood around the pots to be part of the crawfish boil experience. Just wanted to say thanks for the amazing crawdads! I had 95lbs shipped to Chicago on Friday for a Saturday afternoon boil, and they were amazing! Almost all were still alive and squirmin' come boil time. They were clean, big, and shells were easy to peel! I have a couple of friends from New Orleans up here and they were very impressed with the quality of them. I will definitely recommend y'all to others, and I most definitely will order from you again, as my friends are wanting me to make my crawfish boil a yearly event. Thanks!!

I was a crawfish/crawdad/ mudbug virgin until last night. My new girlfriend recently moved from LA and had been talking about missing them. I surprised her with a 20lb bag of them for her birthday. My order was right on time and only had 3 or 4 dead out of 20lbs! It ended up being a great party.Thanks to your whole crew for a job well done. Cudos to FedEx for having them there when promised. I've started a bad precedence however, now I have to top this somehow next birthday...any suggestions!? Thanks Guys!!

Your guys are the BOMB!! I ordered them last night at 3:45 pm and they were at my door at 11am!! As normal, they are almost 100% alive-but the extra touch of Mardi Gras beads and creole seasoning is a wonderful surprise. And the prices actually went down (unlike gas prices!!) Thanks Again-you are the only company we use!!

I wanted to send a quick note and tell you that the 50 lbs that we got last week were AWESOME!!! We only had about 10 dead ones out of the whole batch...the seasoning was perfect, and our Crawfish boil in Ohio was PERFECT. There was not one left on the table...

Dear LA Crawfish Company, I just want to say 'thank you' for helping to make our Christmas dinner so special, this year. My sister, and my nieces wanted to have crawfish etouffee, instead of the traditional fare, and I agreed. The 5 pounds of tail meat that I ordered from you arrived safetly, and on time, which is always appreciated. I will say this-there aren't very many things that can make a family delay opening thier gifts on Christmas Day, but once the etouffee was ready, all we could think about was eating, instead! All of my guests were very complimentary of the food, and I told them that when you prepare an authentic, creole dish, like this, the crawfish have to come from Louisiana. Your product, and your service are 'top shelf', and I would highly recommend your company to anyone. I wish you continued success, in 2010.
