Experience a true piece of Louisiana history with the original Natchitoches Meat Pie! Originating from Natchitoches, the oldest settlement in the Louisiana Purchase, these crescent-shaped pastries are a cherished regional classic (often called the Cajun Empanada).

Each box contains four entrée-sized pies filled with a savory blend of ground beef, ground pork, onions, and signature Southern spices, all sealed in a tender, flaky crust. Perfect for a quick, hearty meal or an unforgettable appetizer!

*KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO COOK*

  • INGREDIENTS: BEEF, PORK, ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, water, pie shortening, water onions, all purpose flour, onions, seasoning, eggs, salt sweet dairy whey.
  • Cooking Instructions:
    • BAKING: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray baking sheet with cooking spray, and for best results add a thin layer of butter to pies.  Bake for about 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
    • FRYING: Heat oil to 350-375 degrees.  Place pies into hot oil for about 8 minutes (5 minutes for Mini pies).
