Crawfish Pie

Ingredients and Method

Ingredients
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 4 Stalk(s) celery, chopped
  • 1 Cup(s) bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Stick(s) butter
  • 3 Pound(s) Louisiana Crawfish Tail Meat
  • 1 Package(s) Lipton’s Dry Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 Can(s) Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 2 13 Ounce(s) water
  • 1 Cup(s) green onion tops, chopped
  • 1 Cup(s) fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 prepared pie shell
  • Louisiana Crawfish Creole Seasoning, to taste
Method
  1. Sauté onions, celery, and bell peppers in butter until onions are clear Show
  2. Add crawfish tails and cook for 5 minutes Show
  3. Add soup mix, mushroom soup, water, green onion tops, and parsley Show
  4. season to taste with Creole seasoning Show
  5. Cook approximately 10 minutes and pour into pie shells Show
  6. Cook in oven until pie shell is golden Show
