  1. Melt butter, add grated onion, and sauté 5 minutes Show
  2. Add flour and 4 cups hot water, bring back to boil Show
  3. Grind tails and green onions, add to mix Show
  4. Add half and half and cream, bring to a boil Show
  5. Add seasonings as desired Show
  6. Serve with hot French bread Show
