I've used this specific brand for years. Excellent taste with just a hint of a smoky taste. If you follow instructions on label it will taste wonderful. My guess is some may be over doing it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and those who received it were very excited and plan to share it with family. After all, you don’t get authentic Louisiana Gumbo in Arizona! The only reason I didn’t rate this with five stars is because I didn’t get to experience it myself, but I know it is delicious!

Just had the best seafood gumbo for dinner!! Served it over white rice and had 2 bowls. Didn't know what to expect since here in New Jersey Gumbo isn't exactly on everyone's menu, but OMG! Loved it, very tasty, very delicious. I recommend to anyone

Excellent spices, I did not realize it came as a Rice pack when I ordered it. I usually make all of the other ingredients from scratch so that’s what I did, included shrimp, oysters, crab, and andouille.

This was sooooo good. Can't wait to get it again. My Wife wanted it, she loves Gumbo... I could careless, till I tasted it. I ate most of it. You guys have changed my mind about Gumbo!!!! :) :) :)

The turducken stole the show. The stuffing and seasoning between the birds were perfect. The meat was incredibly tender. On top of a perfect product, the customer service, packaging and delivery were all incredibly professional. Cannot rate this company high enough.

I have been craving a good soup lately and have been to sick to cook. My son ordered me some from here and it was super tasty. Lots of crawfish, corn and potatos. I am now a life long customer.

We’ve ordered Crawfish Etouffee several times from here and different brands. They’re all excellent. We served 6 people on Christmas Eve and had leftovers for 2 more meals. It never disappoints. The kids even said, “Wow. We’re eating gourmet tonight!”

The rice was wonderful. I took it out of the container it came in, fluffed it up, added some butter, a few sprinkles of salt, tossed it in the oven the last 10 minutes the Turducken was cooking and it was absolutely amazing. We spooned the juices from the Turducken over the rice on our plates and just can't get any better than that.

Wife added 1/4 pound of crawfish tails, put on bed of Jasmine rice. I ate two helpings, stiffed with goodness. Not too spicy, great flavor. Every spoonful had a crawfish tail! I have heartburn, can't take hot sauce anymore after abusing it when younger. But you can always add it yourself. Next time I am going to add some bacon grease like they do in the great Louisiana restaurants.

I deep fried these the other day and served them to some guests. They were absolutely delicious. I will be placing another order for more and inviting more guest to try them. Yes, I am one satisfied customer

Family absolutely loved it. Smoked it on my Big Green Egg at 350* until an internal temp of 165*. Basted about every 45 minutes wuth chicken stock. Came out perfectly cooked, juicy and tender! A crowd pleaser on Christmas Eve!

The flavoring of this mix was delicious! I added crawfish tails, shrimp, okra, red/green peppers, and onions. Ample rice in the mix that I did not need to make extra to serve with it. this was the first time I tried the Oak Grove Smokehouse brand, and I will definitely use it again.

Had it today for lunch. Had been in freezer for probably 6 months. It was so yummy. So good. I was gonna right a review and just as I thought about it I got a text from this company. Fantastic product. I ABSOLUTELY loved it.

So good. Perfect amount of heat (spicyness). The package instructions say heat @350 for 15 minutes but I find that the bottom is a bit soggy from thawing. So I recommend heating at 10 minutes then flip it over.. heat it for another 10.

Cocktail muffulettas were a great addition to our Mardi Gras party. They arrived frozen in a well-wrapped tray, which is also a baking tray while heating them in the oven for 10 minutes. They capture the flavor of full-sized muffs, in a small slider-sized format which is much easier to serve to a house-full of 45 guests than cutting up full-sized sandwiches would be.

I've been eating These Meat Pies for probably 45 years, and I never get tired of these little JEWELS!! I love them and always have. When I moved to Georgia in 2022, I missed them from day one. After a while, I couldn't take it anymore so I ordered a case and had it shipped to Georgia.
