WOW! Let me say that every single person that came to my crawfish boil in Las Vegas was very impressed with the timing, packing, and overall condition of the crawfish. I ordered 30 pounds of live crawfish in the morning last Friday from California. The crawfish was shipped the same day, and delivered to my place on Saturday 11:00AM. Supper fast process. And for 30 pounds of crawfish, only one died. All of them are very actively alive. The quality is super great. We did 60 lbs select this past Saturday and was thoroughly satisfied with the batch we received. We chose select and they were very consistent in size, big but not too big to make them hard. Out of the 2-30 lb. sack, we only culled out about 20 dead ones and they were shipped way out here to Wyoming. Good job!!

I’ve ordered both 20 and 30 lb value packs for crawfish boils this year and both have been excellent! They were shipped overnight from LA to San Diego and arrived before noon well packed with ice packs in a styrofoam cooler with everything needed to boil and season them. Only a handful of crawfish arrived crushed so we were able to eat most of them both times.
The only nitpick is that the styrofoam cooler to break off some chunks on the inside so there are bits of white styrofoam on the crawfish that need to be removed, but that’s not a big deal.
Overall, highly recommend! Will order again for sure.

the crawfish and delivery are excellent of course, my only complaint is there should be about twice as much seasoning in the value packs, the last couple times I’ve gotten it there simply wasn’t enough seasoning – this year I got 15 pounds of crawfish and it came with 1 bag of seasoning which it says is good for 12-15 lbs, I even put in most of the included can of spices as well but they were still very bland….maybe I’m not cooking them properly? (I put them in boiling water and bring back to a rolling boil for 2-3 minutes, turn off heat and let sit covered for 10-15 minutes)….also, it’d be nice if cooking directions are included (not that it’s rocket science), but I only do this once a year and am always googling directions and no two are the same

I lived in Louisiana for about a year when I was a kid. I moved in right at the end of the school year in April-May. One of the first things people did to make me feel welcome was take me to a crawfish boil. I’ve never forgotten that day and the taste of the food. I ordered for a boil last weekend and received a notification from FedEx that due to an issue at their Memphis hub my shipment was delayed by three days. I called LA Crawfish and they shipped me the exact order for Saturday delivery by UPS which arrived in plenty of time for our boil that evening. Even though it was not their fault my earlier shipment could not be delivered on time, they sent me the duplicate order at no charge. The crawfish were great, fresh most importantly alive as always.
